Job Title: Grants Officer

Job Type: Permanent, Full-time

Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 9am-5pm

Salary: £27,107, 29 days annual leave, generous pension, Westfield Health and other benefits.


We are looking for an experienced Grants Officer to join our organisation that supports former coal miners, mining communities and other mining charities.


In this exciting new role, you will support all aspects of our grant applications, collaborating with colleagues and our partners to develop and execute engaging applications to a range of funders in order to support the work with our client groups.

 

You will have a particular focus on identifying appropriate funding opportunities and writing high quality compelling applications, in order to generate additional income for the charity to further develop our services.

 

You will need experience of writing content and developing applications to large and small funding bodies.  You will be able to evidence securing income and be skilled in presenting complex project information in a clear and engaging way.

 

With exceptional communication skills both written and verbal, and an ability to work independently and as part of a team, you will be confident in representing the organisation with partners and funders.

 

Based at our Head Office in Rotherham, you will need to be flexible to travel when required and have access to a vehicle.

 

Due to the nature of the work and our client base, this role may be subject to a satisfactory DBS check.
